Morning departure from your resort. A full day aboard a glass-bottom boat with a wooden roof for sunbathing. We will head to Watamu Marine Park, where you can snorkel (masks and fins provided) to admire the stunning Indian Ocean seabed, teeming with colorful fish and corals. We’ll stop at Garoda Beach to sunbathe and swim in the crystal-clear waters, where three sandbanks emerge during low tide.
We’ll venture into a channel surrounded by mangroves to reach the famous Waka Waka Island for a seafood lunch featuring lobster, prawns, and coconut rice (for non-seafood eaters, we’ll prepare grilled chicken). After lunch, enjoy some relaxation and watch traditional dances performed by the island’s inhabitants.
In the afternoon, our journey continues as we navigate through the heart of the mangrove forest, where you can spot monkeys, herons, flamingos, and storks in their natural habitat. We’ll return to the village in the late afternoon.
